Hey! Thanks so much for playing Phantomware. I loved watching your playthrough! It really means a lot that you gave it a shot.
Just a heads-up: the version you played was the original game jam build. The updated version is now on Itch, with fixes for the restart-after-death issue and other bugs.
Still, I truly appreciate the support and the video. Thank you again! 💜
¡Hola! 😊
Love the game! I hope to see you make more like this. One quick note, there was a glitch within the curse game where when I tried to get to the special/hidden rooms, my character froze in place. This happened once when I tried to enter the room that looked to have an image of a coin on it, and a second time when I found a room where I could move a block to go downstairs, but I left the room as I wanted to record it. However. I couldn't go back in as my character froze.
But overall, love the game and concept! Keep up the good job.
Thank you so much! I am really happy you enjoyed the game, that honestly means a lot to me!
And I really appreciate you pointing out the glitch. That issue with the character freezing in the hidden rooms (like the coin one and the block puzzle area) was actually in an older version, but it’s been fixed in the latest build. Still, thanks a ton for letting me know.
Thanks again for playing Phantomware 0! I am excited to share more with you soon :)
Had so much fun recording this game for a video! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it for it's full release.
I truly love seeing indie games with unique concepts like this. It's a great example of a developer putting in hard work to get something out of it! Keep up the amazing work :D
Thank you so much! I’m really happy you had fun making the video. It means a lot to hear that you enjoyed the concept and appreciate the hard work behind it. I can’t wait to share the full release with you, your support truly keeps me going. Thanks again, and take care! 😊
Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot to us 💜
This was just a short teaser prototype, and we’re working hard on the full game, which we plan to release near the end of this year.
Thanks again for checking it out!
If you’d like, there’s a Steam link in the description too, wishlisting it would help us a lot 🙏
I noticed there are memes featuring national leaders in the game. While I don't intend to criticize anything, regardless of its intentions, this will likely have a negative impact on the game's promotion in this country.
Thank you so much for pointing that out. To be honest, the meme was quite blurry, so I didn’t fully realize what it was referencing. I completely understand how it could be sensitive, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I’ve replaced it now, and I’ll be more careful moving forward. Thanks again for your thoughtful and important feedback, it really means a lot
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you noticed that—playing with the 4th wall was something I wanted to try for long time. There’ll be even more of that in the official release!
Good horror game. Although, your initial teaser game has one chapter, But it scared me a lot. I will play the horror game when it is fully released on Steam
Thank you so much! I’m really glad the first chapter scared you—that means a lot! :) I’m working hard on the full release, and I can’t wait for you to experience the complete game when it’s out on Steam!
A cool psychological horror story with a lot of moving parts, and the ui for the computer usage felt very clean. I think the monster jumpscare could use a little improvement, though I understand that the game is still in development. I had a good time playing!
I'll be 3D printing a monster or scene from the winning game to gift to the game dev- I'm currently printing the winner from january now and I'll be posting it to the channel by the end of the month!
Thank you very much for playing our game! We truly appreciate your feedback. This game was developed in just 10 days for a game jam. We loved watching your reactions and will carefully consider your feedback.
Spoiler warning
Regarding the monster, it plays a crucial role in the story. Initially, it exists only within the system, but as you progress, you realize that it uses the game as a host to break into the real world and attack the player. It’s a phantom virus that needs a host device to manifest and influence reality—you first notice this while playing the mini-game. That said, we agree the jumpscare could use some polish, and we’re actively working on improving it.
We’re excited to release the finished version on Steam soon! We would love to see a 3D-printed version of our monster. If it wins, we’d be happy to send you the 3D model file of it!

it was a really unique game although having to restart so far back if you died to the monster was so annoying

Game's really nice. I like how you blur the lines of the 4th wall ever so slightly. Keep it up.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont
